The collaborative workshop series „Sonic Experiments“ of Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität’s CMS by Lukas Jakob Löcker ( Eliot/ Backlab ) presents a special occasion at the end of this summer semester – the special edition features the international music and art collective TrueNatives from Ghana & Austria!
The opening lecture will focus on techniques of producing urban African music, as well as the differences between Austrian and Ghanaian approaches to music production, and how those came together to form this particular music project.
The two workshop days will deal with the „True Native“ way of writing texts and lyrics, using (rap) music as a lingua franca to overcome language barriers, as well as an influence for playing techniques of instruments – and vice versa!
